In this tutorial, we cover the NOR gate object in the Virtual View of AVX Architect. Discover how this logic gate works, where to find it in the Virtual Library, and how to configure its properties for advanced DSP logic processing. The NOR gate outputs a high state only when all inputs are off, making it a key component for conditional logic in AV systems.

. In this video, we’ll continue to explore the Virtual view of AVX Architect and look at the various Logic Gate objects. The NOR gate is a Boolean logic object used to create conditional actions within the program. The NOR gate has from 2 to 512 inputs and one output. For the output to be ON, all inputs must be OFF. If any one of the inputs is ON, the output will be OFF.
The Logic NOR does not have a Factory panel. All the parameters available for this object are found on the right, in the “Properties” window. The “Properties” window has the usual naming, workspace location, and DSP allocation settings. The number of inputs can be changed in the Options section.
