In this tutorial, we explore the Logic AND object in the Virtual View of AVX Architect. Learn how this essential logic gate works, where to find it in the Virtual Library, and how to configure its properties for your audio DSP projects. The AND object outputs a high state only when all inputs are high, making it a powerful tool for conditional logic in AV systems.

In this video, we’ll continue to explore the Virtual view of AVX Architect and look at the various Logic Gate objects. The AND gate is a Boolean logic object used to create conditional actions within the program. The AND gate has from 2 to 512 inputs and one output. For the output to be ON, all inputs must be ON. If any one of the inputs is OFF, the output will be OFF.
The Logic AND object does not have a Factory panel. All the parameters available for this object are found on the right, in the “Properties” window. The “Properties” window has the usual naming, workspace location, and DSP allocation settings. The number of inputs can be changed in the Options section.
