Description:
The Mixer object can be found in the VIRTUAL view, under the Mixers and Gains section of the VIRTUAL LIBRARY.

The Mixer allows up to 512 input signals to be mixed to a mono or stereo output.

The PROPERTIES window includes standard options for naming, workspace location, and DSP allocation settings.

The OPTIONS section includes channel count configuration. For this example, set 32 input channels.

Inspired by traditional mixing consoles, the Mixer also provides aux busses, group busses, and direct outputs.
The number of groups and auxes can be configured, with up to four of each selectable.
Adding groups and auxes will create corresponding outputs on the Mixer object block.

Enabling stereo will change the Mixer object from mono to stereo output.

Pan Law applies attenuation to each channel at the central pan position and is selectable at -3, -4.5, or -6 d B.
Enabling direct outputs will add additional outputs to the Mixer object block, providing individual input channel signals post polarity, gain, and mute.

The Mixer factory panel displays 16 channels at a time, and channel banks can be toggled under the Channels section at the top of the Mixer.

You can scroll through the current selected group by dragging the slider here at the bottom of the control panel.

Each channel includes a polarity switch for signal polarity.

Gain can be adjusted using the fader or by entering the value directly above.

If Stereo is enabled, the pan can be adjusted with this slider:

Additional controls include mute, solo.

Group selector buttons route the input to selected group busses.

Aux level knobs adjust the input signal level sent to aux busses.

On the right side of the Mixer, master group and aux controls are available.
Each buss includes level control, mute control, and a Post or Pre toggle.

When set to Post, input signals are sent to the buss after polarity, mute, and gain. When set to Pre, input signals are sent before polarity and mute and gain.

At the bottom right of the Mixer, master left and right level and mute controls are provided.
