Description:
The Label object is located in the COMMON CONTROLS section of the CONTROL LIBRARY.

Drag the Label object into the workspace to display the default label text.

In the PROPERTIES window, the object includes standard options for naming, workspace location, and sizing. The object can also be adjusted directly by dragging its handles or moving it within the workspace.

The field below the size setting determines the text displayed in the object.

Text PROPERTIES allow customization of font, style, size, color, and opacity.

Similar to annotations, text alignment can be adjusted horizontally and vertically.

Display format determines how text behaves when the text length exceeds the object size.

- Wrap causes text to wrap within the object boundaries. This is the default setting.
- Truncate cuts off text at the object border.
- Ellipsis adds ellipses after the last complete word that fits within the object.
- Marquee scrolls text from right to left within the object boundaries.
Labels can also be enhanced using parameter bindings.
In this example, a panel has been built with elements from the design, including a logic source, mute button, gain fader, and meter.

When the panel is launched, labels display predefined text set in the PROPERTIES pane, and controls function with the meter reflecting live signal.

Return to the UI DESIGN view to assign parameters to labels, modifying their behavior.
In the left pane, use the PARAMETERS TREE to locate the parameters included in the design.

Begin with the logic source parameter and drag it onto the label in the workspace.

Initially, the label may appear unchanged. After selecting the label, the PARAMETER BINDINGS section in the right pane will display the associated parameter.

Repeat this process for the remaining parameters.
When the panel is launched again, label text will reflect the real-time state of the bound parameters.

Labels will update dynamically as buttons are toggled, and the meter will display live changes.
