Description:
When an Expander is placed in the SYSTEM view, the input and output objects can be found in the VIRTUAL view, under the COMPONENT LIST section of the left pane.

The input and output objects can be added to the VIRTUAL view workspace.
The first object is the Analog Input.

Each analog input includes a variable gain microphone preamp adjustable from 0 to +60 d B of gain. This control is continuous rather than stepped and offers a resolution of two decimal places.

Each input includes a mute button and a polarity button.

A 48V button in the top-right corner enables phantom power for condenser microphones requiring it.

The bottom section of the panel contains the standard AVX Architect meter with controls for Fall Time, and Offset.

Above are the Clip Indicator and VU meter.

Analog input and output meters display both the dBFS scale on one side and the dBu scale on the other. All other meters in AVX Architect display only dBFS.
The next object is the Digital Input.
This object appears in the workspace as a two-channel object, which is standard for AES3.

The factory panel for this object does not include gain or phantom power because the signal is digital.

The top section includes mute and polarity buttons.

The middle section contains the standard meter, which uses a dBFS scale for digital signals.

The bottom section includes an error indicator for issues with the incoming digital signal, a sample rate indicator showing the locked sample rate, and a Bypass Sample Rate Conversion button.

This button should only be enabled if the digital input device is clocking to the OMNI or if both the digital input device and OMNI are clocking to the same external clock source.

The output objects are equally straightforward.
The Analog Output object includes mute and polarity controls along with the standard meter and meter controls.

The Digital Output object includes the same controls as the analog output but adds an error indicator for monitoring the digital signal.
