Which coax types are approved for the antenna lines?

The manual provides length tables for RG58 and RG213; choose either according to the distance and set CLA accordingly.

How far can active antennas be placed from the splitter?

With SRA2 or RA4000 and two AB4000 boosters in series, runs up to 200 m are supported.

How high should floor‑stand antennas be?

Raise the boom so the antenna sits at least 1.8 m above the ground and 0.7 m away from the stand.

What does the blue OK LED show?

It lights while the corresponding antenna input is delivering correct DC voltage to active components.

How do I set the CLA DIP switches?

Remove the logo cover and set switches according to Table 1 for your frequency band, antenna type, cable type, and total length.

How many wireless receivers can one APS4 serve?

Each APS4 feeds antenna signals and DC power to up to four diversity receivers.

When should I use the LINK A/B TO PS connectors?

Use them to pass both antenna signals on to additional APS4 units for larger systems.

What triggers the red ERROR LED?

The red LED appears if the antenna input voltage falls below 2 V or is short‑circuited.

What spacing is recommended between two diversity antennas?

Place them at least 20 cm apart and within direct line‑of‑sight of transmitters.

Will a short circuit on one output disable all receivers?

Only the receiver on the shorted jack loses power; others remain active.

What is the CLA switch bank for?

It lets you match the antenna inputs to long cable runs by adding 0‑14 dB of gain in 2 dB steps.

How many channels can I build by cascading splitters?

Up to about 50 channels are possible by daisy‑chaining several APS4 units through the LINK outputs.

How close can antennas be to walls or ceilings?

Keep at least 10 cm in front of walls and 50 cm from large surfaces; mount 15 cm above the floor.

Does the APS4 NONE come with a power supply?

The APS4 model “NONE” does not include a power supply.
A power supply can be ordered separately using part number: 7801H00150.

Note: Part number 7801H00150 does not include a power cord, and are region dependent.

A regional power cable can be ordered using the following part numbers:
EU - 0110E03160
US - 0110E03170
UK - 6001H36040

How much current can each antenna output jack supply?

Each of the eight outputs can source up to 1 A without affecting the others.

What is the correct power‑up sequence?

Switch on transmitters first, then the APS4 and connected receivers together to avoid supply overloads.

Can two splitters fit side by side in a rack?

Yes, the half‑rack chassis lets you mount two APS4 units in one 1 U space.

When is an ASU4000 remote adapter required?

If long cables or combiners drop the DC voltage below spec or if more than three active devices share one line.

What power adapter does the APS4 need?

Operate the splitter only with a regulated 12 V DC, 3.5 A supply.

PSU part number is: 7801H00250 (PSU,12V/3.5A,EU/US(VI)/UK/AU)

Which UHF frequencies does the APS4 cover?

It is wide‑band and works from 470 MHz to 952 MHz.

Does the APS4 feed active antennas?

Yes, each antenna input delivers 12 V DC for up to three active components such as boosters or powered antennas.
