AMX - Default Settings, User names and Passwords for for many AMX Products

​​This document lists the default user name and passwords for various AMX products. Directions on how to return to factory default settings are also included where available.

The information in this article applies to:

Currently supported AMX products

Camera Controllers

PTE-300

Default IP Address: 192.168.1.160

Default Baud Rate: 9600,N,8,1

Central Controllers

NI Series

Default Administrator User Name: administrator

Default Administrator Password: password

Default User Name: NetLinx

Digital Signage

IS-PLAYER-200

Default IP Address: DHCP (zero-config)

IS-SPX-1000

Default IP Address: DHCP (zero-config)

Default User Name: <none>

Default Password: <none>

Reset to Factory Defaults:

1. Unplug the unit from the power.

2. Push the reset button and keep it pressed.

3. Power up the IS-SPX-1000 unit.

4. Wait with the reset button pressed for at least 8 seconds. 5. Release the reset button.

IS-XPT-2000

Default IP Address: DHCP (zero-config)

Endeleo UDM-0102

Default IP Address: 192.168.0.96

Default User Name: <leave blank>

Default Password: admin

Default Baud Rate: 9600,N,8,1 No Flow Control UDM-0404

Use the 'Factory Reset' tab in the web pages or press the Reset Switch on the rear panel continuously during the boot process. MET-ECOM/-D

Reset to Factory Defaults:

Push and hold the ID/Reset pushbutton on the rear panel for at least 10 seconds.

NXA-ENET8POE

Default IP Address: 192.168.2.10

Default User Name: admin

Default Password: 1988

Reset to Factory Defaults:

1. Remove the power cord from the back of the device.

2. Remove all cables from the front-panel ports.

3. Connect port 1 to port 2 on the front panel, using a standard network cable.

4. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the switch.

5. The PoE LEDs (FIG. 1) will flash on and off at least two times, followed by the ƒn Link/ACT LEDs. Do not disconnect the cable or the power cord until only the first two Link/ACT LEDs are a steady green and the others are off.

6. Disconnect the power cord and THEN disconnect the network cable.

7. Reconnect the power cord. The NXA-ENET8POE is now reset to its factory defaults.

NXA-ENET24

Default IP Address: DHCP

Default Privileged User Name: Admin

Default Privileged Password: 1988

Default Normal Exec User Name: guest

Default Normal Exec Password: guest

Reset to Factory Defaults:

The switch's system defaults are provided in the configuration file “Factory_Default_Config.cfg." To reset the switch defaults, this file should be set as the startup configuration file.

NXA-WAP200G

Default IP Address: 192.168.1.240

Default User Name: Admin

Default Password: 1988

Reset to Factory Defaults:

Press the Reset button on the rear panel for 10 seconds

NXA-WAP250G

Default IP Address: 192.168.1.240

Default User Name: Admin

Default Password: 1988

Reset to Factory Defaults:

Hold down the reset button on the bottom panel for 10 seconds or more, any configuration changes you may have made are removed, and the factory default configuration is restored to the access point.

NXA-WAP1000

Default IP Address: 192.168.0.1

Default User Name: admin

Default Password: 1988

Reset to Factory Defaults:

Pressing and holding the Hard Reset button on the rear panel for six seconds resets the unit to factory default settings.

NXA-WAPZD1000 (Zone Director)

Default IP Address: DHCP/ 192.168.0.2

Note: The NXA-WAPZD1000 is shipped with its default IP address settings as "DHCP", but if it is installed outside of a DHCP network, the device will revert to the default IP address (192.168.0.2).

Default Console Port Settings: 115200, N, 8, 1

Default User Name: admin

Default Password: admin

Reset to Factory Defaults:

Press and hold the Reset button for 8 seconds. The Status LED will now start flashing green to denote its default status.

NXB-KNX (KNX Gateway)

Default IP Address: DHCP

Note: The NXB-KNX is shipped with its default IP address settings as "DHCP", but it features a built-in zero-configuration networking client that allows you to determine the unit's IP address via NetLinx Studio v3.0 (or higher), or a similar zero-configuration client.

Security is disabled by default, but if enabled, the following are is default login

Default User Name: administrator

Default Password: password

Reset to Factory Defaults: is accomplished only in the web interface.

NXR-ZGW/-ZRP

Default IP Address: 192.168.1.140

Default User Name: Admin

Default Password: 1988

Reset to Factory Defaults:

Press and hold the ID Button for approximately 30 seconds to return the NXR-ZGW to factory default settings.

NXR-ZGW-PRO/-ZRP-PRO

Default IP Address: DHCP/169.254.1.2

Note: The NXR-ZGW-PRO is shipped with its default IP address settings as "DHCP", but if it is installed outside of a DHCP network, the device will revert to the default IP address (169.254.1.2).

Default User Name: Admin

Default Password: 1988

Reset to Factory Defaults:

Press and hold the ID Button for approximately 30 seconds to return unit to factory default settings.

Television Distribution System

DTV-TX Transmitter

Default IP Address: DHCP

Reset to Factory Defaults:

In the Configuration Manager, Click to reset the Network Settings for selected Transmitter to DHCP.

DTV-RX Receiver

Default IP Address: DHCP

TVM-1600

Default IP Address: 192.168.0.96

Default User Name: <leave blank>

Default Password: admin

Video Management/Distribution

MAX Server

Default IP Address: 192.168.1.30

Default User Name: root

Default Password: Mozart

MAX-CSD10

Default IP Address: DHCP

Default User Name: administrator (Web Interface)

Default Password: password (Web Interface)

Reset to Factory Defaults:

Press and hold the ID button on the front panel for 10 seconds to reset the parameters and reboot the MAX unit.

MAX-CSE

Default IP Address: DHCP

Default User Name: administrator (Web Interface)

Default Password: password (Web Interface)

Reset to Factory Defaults:

Press and hold the ID button on the front panel for 10 seconds to reset the parameters and reboot the MAX unit.

V2 Server

Default IP Address: DHCP

Note: (use 'ping V2AMX-<SVCTAG>' to find IP address. <SVCTAG> is the service name, which you can find on the front of your server.

Default User Name: Administrator

Default Password: vision2​
