Overview:

Traditional JBL loudspeakers use sealed M10 mounting points that require removing a threaded plug before attaching an eyebolt or rigging accessory.  Because the mounting point is part of the enclosure, the plug is necessary to maintain the cabinet’s air seal, meaning an Allen key is always required for installation.

JBL QuickLink™ mounting points eliminate that extra step.  The enclosure is sealed independently of the mounting interface, eliminating the need for removable sealing plugs.  M10 eyebolts and compatible rigging accessories can be installed and removed by hand, making deployment faster while maintaining the enclosure’s acoustic seal.

QuickLink-equipped JBL loudspeakers include factory-designed rigging points built into the enclosure. Installers can attach approved accessories, such as JBL's EBK4 M10 eyebolt kit, directly to these mounting points to suspend or position speakers securely.

Features:

  • Multiple M10 QuickLink™ attachment points available.
  • Supports suspension using approved M10 forged eyebolts.
  • Provides interface points for dedicated accessories.
  • Sealed design with no air leaks when unused.
  • Tool-free operations.

Benefits:

  1. Faster Installation

QuickLink mounting points allow technicians to quickly attach approved rigging hardware without custom fabrication or modification of the speaker enclosure.

  1. Enhanced Safety

The attachment points are engineered by JBL as part of the loudspeaker design and are intended for use with certified, load-rated rigging components, helping ensure a safer installation process.

  1. Flexible Mounting Options

QuickLink-compatible speakers can be suspended, angled, clustered, or mounted depending on venue requirements and approved accessories.

  1. Professional Appearance

Because the rigging points are integrated into the enclosure, installations often look cleaner and more professional than systems that rely on external modifications.

  1. Reliable Positioning

Secure attachment hardware helps maintain consistent loudspeaker aiming and coverage patterns, which is critical for professional sound reinforcement.

Applications:

  • Houses of worship
  • Theaters and performing arts centers
  • Corporate AV installations
  • Hospitality venues
  • Convention centers
  • Stadiums and arenas
  • Permanent installed sound systems
  • Live event and touring

Important Safety Note:

JBL specifies that any hardware used in overhead suspension applications must be properly load-rated and installed according to JBL rigging documentation and local safety regulations.  Rigging should only be performed by qualified personnel.
