Is the signal generator of the JBL Performance Manager suitable for checking the phase relation of the speaker arrays?

Answer:

As the tone generator is not synchronized within the individual units it is not possible to use it for polarity checking. It is intended use is for testing the speakers, but not the phase relation of two devices. If you truly want to check the summation or cancellation an identical external signal must be used in such a case.
