My computer is showing my Omega as an unknown USB device. Why?

​Answer:

If your Lexicon Omega interface is not recognized by your computer or is shown as an unknown USB device, then it may need a factory reset. With the interface connected to power and the computer, follow the instructions below.

1. Simultaneously hold the USB Assign buttons for Mic 1/Mic 2 and Line 3/Line 4.

2. The USB Assign lights between Line 1/Line 2 will flash, indicating a successful reset.

3. Remove power from the interface and allow 10 seconds before applying power again.
