- The speaker will NOT confirm the connection and will stay in “Syncing”; this is normal. Press Done to continue.

- The speaker should now be available in the settings page, and the Firmware Update will be available.

- Press the “Refresh” Icon to start the firmware update, and if needed, the “Download” option.

- Press “CPU” Icon to start the firmware update to v6.3.8 in the app.
Bluetooth pairing request will be displayed, select Pair.

- Monitor the progress bar. After it reaches 100%, it will remain at that point for approximately 15–20 seconds before completing the update.

Timing is Crucial
As soon as the status changes to "Rebooting the loudspeaker…,"

Immediately force-close (swipe away) the JBL Pro Connect app.
Depending on the device, the app might close on its own.
C) Reconnect your Speaker
- Go to iPhone Settings > Bluetooth and Remove/Forget the EON ONE Compact speaker again.

- Re-open the JBL Pro Connect app and wait for the "Bluetooth Pairing Request" pop-up, select “Pair”.

NOTE:
Immediately after selecting “Pair”, the speaker LEDs will start flashing and will finish rebooting. This process may take some time to complete.
During the reboot, the Bluetooth LED will turn red, and all channel LEDs will remain lit. This behavior is normal.
If the speaker's LEDs do not flash on after selecting "Pair," the process was not completed correctly.
- Once the speaker has rebooted, verify that the unit has been updated successfully to the latest firmware version.
After confirming the update is complete, perform a factory reset on the unit, Remove/Forget device from iPad/iPhone Bluetooth Settings and once again delete and re-install JBL Pro Connect App.
Ready to use.
You can now proceed to normal operation as if the speaker was new out of the box.
