Answer:

AKG DMS800: Scanning For Multiple Frequencies and Syncing to Transmitter

Step 1:

Power ON your DSR800 Receiver and wait until the receiver has completely initiated.

  • If your receiver shows lock, press and hold the receiver’s knob until it unlocks.

Step 2:

Once the receiver has been unlocked, tap on the knob once to reach

“QUICKSETUP”

Step 3:

Tap on the knob once to highlight “START SETUP”. Tap once again to select.

Step 4:

Select the number of channels you desire to use by turning left or right on the DSR800 receiver knob.

Step 5:

Once you have selected the number of channels, tap on the knob twice

to reach “START SCAN”. Tap on the knob once again to start scanning for frequencies.

Step 6:

You should now have a list of the frequencies (e.g. 01.04) you requested.

Tap on the DSR800 receiver “BACK” button three times to reach your two channel display

Step 7:

Tap on the channel selector which you are going to add the frequency to.

Step 8:

Using the DSR800 receiver knob, scroll until you highlight “GR/CH”

(group/channel)…this process is the same for manually changing the FREQUENCY. Tab on the knob to select.

Step 9:

Start by changing the group number first. Use the receiver’s knob to select number by turning (left/right).

Step 10:

Once you have selected the group number, tap on the receiver’s knob

once to highlight the channel. Do the same by turning the receiver’s knob (left/right) to select the channel.

Step 11:

Once you have selected the channel, tap on the DSR800 receiver knob to highlight “SYNC”.

Step 12:

You are now ready to program the new frequency (GR/CH) to your transmitter.

  • Locate both “IR” data sensors on the DSR800 receiver and DHT800/DPT800 transmitter.
  • Face both “IR” data sensors about 2 inches away (shown below) and tap on receiver’s knob to start syncing.

Step 13:

If “SYNC OK” appears, you have successfully completed the syncing process.

Note:

If syncing fails, please tap the DSR800 receiver knob and “REPEAT” will appear.
