This video provides a walkthrough of how to set up the MADI USB Combo Card for the Soundcraft Si series of mixers.  These instructions can also be helpful if you're having issues with your MADI USB Card and Stagebox.  Simply follow this guide as if setting up the card for the first time.

Transcript
The MADI USB card for the Soundcraft Si series of mixers is used for connecting your mixer to a stagebox or to a computer for recording or streaming. In this video quickstart, we’ll walk through setting up the MADI USB card for the first time. These instructions are also helpful if you’re having issues with your MADI USB card and we’ll cover some common issues. Let’s get started.
Before we mess with the mixer, let’s start with the mixer powered off and unplugged from your power source completely. With the mixer powered off, loosen the two screws on the side of the MADI USB card. You should then be able to remove the card from the mixer. On the card, look for a set of 4 dip switches that looks like this. These switches affect different sync and routing options, but let’s just make sure they are in the standard configuration, or how it should come out of the box. For these switches, having them positioned on the number side is OFF and the top side is ON. The standard configuration is switch 1 OFF, switch 2 ON, switch 3 OFF, and switch 4 ON. Once the switches are set, insert the card back into the mixer, making sure it smoothly goes back into place, and tighten the two screws. Once the card is securely back in the mixer, plug the mixer back in, and power it back on.
Once the mixer is powered up, go to the SHOWS menu. Here, you will find a button labeled RESET CONFIG. This button will not clear show settings like gains, levels, or EQ, but could potentially clear any MADI USB or Option Card patching if you previously had channels patched and are performing this process to rule out mixer or card issues. The main function of this button is to re-establish the connection to the option cards so the mixer is aware of its new or changed I/O capabilities. Go ahead and perform the RESET CONFIG by pressing the button. If you’re connecting to a Stagebox, you should see a green Stagebox icon in the top right of the display screen. If you don’t, check the status of the lock lights on the MADI USB card. Flashing lock lights might indicate a cable issue, and you could try a different ethernet cable. We recommend Cat5 unshielded for optimal stagebox operation.
The default configuration allows for 32 stagebox inputs and 32 channels of USB recording. This configuration should now be visible under the inputs or outputs section.
