In this video of the Crown Comtech D-Series video manual series, we’re going to walk you through how to perform a factory reset for these amplifiers.
The easiest way to factory reset the amp is using the Reset button on the back panel. Start with the amp powered on. Using a small tool, like a paperclip, press the button inside the hole and hold it for at least 10 seconds before releasing. If you’re connected to the amplifier GUI or monitoring the amp in AVX Manager, it will disconnect momentarily as the amp performs the reset process. After the reset, the amp will have its settings cleared and should be online once again. The amp can also be reset from the web GUI and AVX Manager. Check out our video on accessing the Web GUI for more on this.
