Overview:

To achieve smooth and uniform dimming across the entire beam, the mechanical dimmer blades must close evenly and completely obscure the light.  There are two methods for adjusting the mechanical dimmer:

Method 1 :

• Place the fixture 5.53 m (18.1 ft) from a flat white wall.

• Power on the fixture and strike the lamp.
• On the fixture user interface, navigate to: MAIN → MANUAL → LAMP ON
• Tilt the head so the beam is projected onto the wall.

Enter Calibration mode:

• Navigate to: SERVICE → CALIBRATION → DIMMER
• The fixture automatically sets the following values:
  

• Now adjust the dimmer values so the projection is just visible on the wall.

Method 2: 

• Power on the fixture and strike the lamp.
• On the fixture user interface, navigate to: MAIN → MANUAL → LAMP ON
• Tilt the head so the beam its in a vertical position.
• Navigate to: SERVICE → CALIBRATION → DIMMER
• Place a piece of paper on the front lens.
  
• Adjust the the value so just a few dots are visible.
  
• Adjust the calibration value until all dots are just visible on the wall. Press Enter to store the value. 
  The dimmer calibration is now complete, and you can exit the calibration menu.
