InvisiBall Installation Procedure

Step 1: Install the Mounting Bracket:
Secure the InvisiBall mounting bracket to the wall or mounting structure using appropriate fasteners and anchors suitable for the installation surface.  Ensure the bracket is properly aligned and securely fastened before proceeding.

Step 2: Remove the Speaker Knockout Plug
Locate the designated InvisiBall mounting opening on the rear of the compatible JBL Control Series speaker.  Using a wide-tipped, slotted screwdriver, carefully push downward on the plastic knockout plug, as shown in the image, to remove it and expose the mounting opening.

Step 3: Access the Internal Clamp
Remove the JBL logo badge from the speaker grille to access the internal InvisiBall clamp adjustment point.  Use the appropriate Allen wrench (hex key) specified for your speaker model to adjust the clamp.

Step 4: Mount the Speaker
Loosen the internal clamp sufficiently to allow the speaker to fit onto the InvisiBall mounting head.  Carefully position the speaker onto the mounting assembly, ensuring it is properly seated.  Support the speaker throughout the installation process to prevent it from falling.

Step 5: Adjust and Secure the Speaker
Adjust the speaker to the desired angle and listening direction  Tighten the internal clamp just enough to hold the speaker in the desired position, then fully tighten the clamp according to the manufacturer's instructions to secure the speaker.

Finally, reinstall the JBL logo badge on the speaker grille and verify that the speaker is firmly attached and securely positioned.

IMPORTANT

Always support the speaker during mounting and adjustment.  Verify that all mounting hardware and the InvisiBall clamp are securely tightened before releasing the speaker.
