Overview:
This article provides detailed instructions on how to save presets from your DriveRack device using the DriveWare software.
Preparation Requirements:
- Computer with Windows XP/7/8/10/11 Operating System.
- dbx Driveware software.
DriveWare v2.6.2 - Null Modem/Crossover Serial Cable. A straight through cable will not work.
- RS232-to-USB Adapter if you do not have an RS232 port on your computer.

Follow these steps to save your Presets using DriveWare:
- Once your DriveRack is connected to DriveWare, open the device by double-clicking its icon in the software.

- Right-click on the preset field to display the list of available presets, then select the preset you want to edit.

- After configuring your preset, click STORE. Enter a name for the preset, select "Replace an Existing Program", and then click OK.
The preset will be saved to the DriveRack device.
- To Save the program to your computer, right-click on the top bar and select “Export Program”. Choose the destination folder, enter a file name, and then save the file.
