Issues addressed in CDi Drivecore firmware v2.0.6.5
 

Problem:

Auto Power Down [APD] wake up issue - Some CDi Drivecore amps would not wake from APD when analog audio input was at a level expected to wake them.  

Hotfix Testing:

CDi Drivecore v2.0.6.5 addresses a specific problem and was subject to a limited and rapid test cycle.  The successfully validated Hotfix release is intended to be offered only on an "as needed" basis without implementation in the factory or general availability, as of November 2022.  

The firmware was "quick" tested and we saw no issues with APD wake from analog input in CDi Drivecore amplifiers after the update.  

The Proxy & Static Route features were also quick tested and worked as expected.  

The GPIO Sleep/Wake feature was also quick tested and worked as expected.  

The firmware does not seem to affect general use of the amplifier functions.  

A full regression test of this Firmware has NOT been performed yet.  There may be minor, non-critical issues with some features related to Audio Architect.  

Access to the v2.0.6.5 hotfix via Audio Architect 2.50 or higher

To access the hotfix, you must use Audio Architect v2.50.0 or higher.  Run Audio Architect as administrator.

Audio Architect v2.50.0 added the ability to download private feature updates, such as this hotfix, from the cloud.  

This can be accessed under File > Application Options > Feature Updater.  

Once in this window, Press Shift + Ctrl + Alt and click on Feature Updater.  

The window changes as below:

Enter the security key cdidc2065 and click start.  
 

This will download the firmware to the computer.   

This window will pop up to indicate the process has completed.  

Audio Architect must be relaunched so it can access the files.  

After Audio Architect has restarted, connect to amplifiers and go online.  
Audio Architect will prompt to update the firmware on the connected amplifiers.  
Update the firmware on the amplifiers as you would any other firmware update.
