What are the power supply part numbers used in the EFX Series mixers?

Answer:

Original Design

The original EFX Series mixers used a single power supply board.

Two part numbers were used:

• R0307B-05-AF
• R0531B-03-AF (replacement for R0307B-05-AF; the two boards are interchangeable)

The following mixer SKUs use the single-board power supply design:

• RW5758XX – EFX8 CONSOLE
• RW5759XX – EFX12 CONSOLE
• E535.000000XX – EFX8 CONSOLE +K
• E535.100000XX – EFX12 CONSOLE +K

XX indicates the regional version (EU, UK, or US).
 

Redesigned Version

The EFX Series was later redesigned, and the power supply section was updated to a two-board system consisting of an AC-DC board and a DC-DC board:

• 5135051-00 – AC-DC board
• 5134456-00 – DC-DC board

The following mixer SKUs use the redesigned power supply:

• SCR-E535000000XX – EFX8 CONSOLE +K
• SCR-E535100000XX – EFX12 CONSOLE +K

XX indicates the regional version (EU, UK, or US).
 

Compatibility

In addition to the different electrical design, the mounting layout is also slightly different.  Therefore, the original single-board power supply and the redesigned two-board power supply are not interchangeable.

The mixer revision can be identified by checking the SKU printed on the chassis.
