In this video, we’ll continue to explore the virtual view of AVX Architect and look at the Multi Band Dynamic Meters. Available to any Soundweb Omni processor, Multi Band Dynamic Meters are a quick way to visually monitor signals within the virtual view of AVX Architect.
To enable multi band dynamic meters, first select the processor in the System View. In the Properties Window on the right, you will find the Dynamic Meter Style option under the Audio section. This will change our dynamic meters between multi band and single band. The number of available pinned dynamic meters can also be set here underneath, but remember that more dynamic meters will utilize more DSP usage.
Once multi band meters have been enabled, you can hover over any wire in the virtual view to see a visual RTA representation of that object block’s output. This noise generator is feeding through a crossover here to remove high frequencies, and we can see that reflected in the meters. Clicking the pin icon on the meter will lock the meter in place on the wire to remain constantly visible. You can pin multiple meters, up to the amount we set in the Audio Properties.
