Logic Calendar - Logic Begins | AVX Architect
In this tutorial, we cover the Logic Calendar object in AVX Architect’s Virtual View, which provides a high output at specific dates and times based on the system clock. Learn where to find the Logic Calendar in the Virtual Library, understand the conditions for high and low states, and explore its properties and options for scheduling logic events.

In this video, we’ll continue to explore the Virtual view of AVX Architect and look at the Logic Calendar Object. The Logic Calendar is found in the Virtual view, under the “Begin” section of the Logic processing objects. The Logic Calendar object gives a high or low output at specific programmed dates and times according to a configurable list of events. The light on the logic object block indicates the current state of the output.
The Logic Calendar factory panel will display the events that can be configured, and the default is one event. Each event has the following settings. The time, which is set in hours, minutes, seconds AM or PM. The date for the first time this event will happen. Selectable in a calendar format with a button to clear the selection or jump to today’s date. The output state, which is what the output state will be at the time of the event. If ON, does it stay on or toggle itself OFF after a defined interval. Recurrence, which is if the event will repeat and at what interval. Numerical values are 1-86,400, and the intervals are Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days, and Weeks.
The “Properties” window has the usual naming, workspace location, and DSP allocation settings. The Options section contains the Number of Events, which will set the number of configurable events in the factory panel. This can be set up to a maximum of 365 events.
