Welcome back to the AVX Architect Video Manual Series. In this video, we’re going to cover how to gather application logs using AVX Collector. During your interactions with technical support, you may be asked to gather application logs from the AVX Suite applications. Follow this guide to get the logs and other files that might help in troubleshooting your system.
Start by opening Windows explorer. Use the side bar to navigate to your OS drive, then open the following directories. Program Files, Harman Pro, then the AVX Suite folder. Inside the AVX Suite folder, you’ll find the AVX Collector application. Launch the AVX Collector application, and it will automatically collect all the application files and data from all the AVX Suite applications. When complete, it will put these files into a zip folder and automatically open the folder for you. These zip folders are stored in a different location in the OS drive, under the current user, Harman Professional, AVX Suite folder. You may acquire many of these folders over time, and they will automatically include the collected date and time in the zip folder name. You can simply e-mail this whole zip folder to tech support for analysis.
