In this tutorial, we explore the OR gate object in the Virtual View of AVX Architect. Learn how this logic gate works, where to find it in the Virtual Library, and how to configure its properties for DSP logic processing. The OR gate outputs a high state when any or all inputs are high, making it a fundamental tool for AV system logic control.

In this video, we’ll continue to explore the Virtual view of AVX Architect and look at the various Logic Gate objects.
The OR gate is a Boolean logic object used to create conditional actions within the program. The OR gate has from 2-512 inputs and one output. For the output to be ON, any or all inputs must be ON. If all the inputs are OFF, the output will be OFF.
The Logic OR object does not have a Factory panel. All the parameters available for this object are found on the right, in the “Properties” window. The “Properties” window has the usual naming, workspace location, and DSP allocation settings. The number of inputs can be changed in the Options section.
