In this tutorial, we dive into the NAND gate object in the Virtual View of AVX Architect. Learn how this logic gate operates, where to find it in the Virtual Library, and how to configure its properties for advanced DSP logic processing. The NAND gate outputs a low state when any input is low, making it a versatile tool for conditional control in AV systems.

In this video, we’ll continue to explore the Virtual view of AVX Architect and look at the various Logic Gate objects. The NAND gate is a Boolean logic object used to create conditional actions within the program. The NAND gate has from 2 to 512 inputs and one output. For the output to be OFF, all inputs must be ON. If any one of the inputs is OFF, the output will be ON.
The Logic NAND object does not have a Factory panel. All the parameters available for this object are found on the right, in the “Properties” window. The “Properties” window has the usual naming, workspace location, and DSP allocation settings. The number of inputs can be changed in the Options section.
