Enabling Ducking on JBL Portable PA Speakers
NOTE:
Ducking performance depends on microphone input selection and sensitivity settings. For best results, ensure the correct microphone channel is selected and test the feature while music is playing. Available settings may vary by speaker model.
EON700 Series / EON ONE MK2 / PRX ONE

Follow the steps below to enable the Ducking feature:
- Press the MAIN/MENU knob on the rear control panel.
- Rotate the knob to Ducking by Soundcraft, then press to select it.
- Turn the knob clockwise to enable the ducking feature.
- Navigate to Channel Sensors and select the microphone input(s) that will trigger ducking.
- If ducking does not activate reliably, adjust the sensitivity to suit your speaking volume and microphone placement.
- Test the feature with music playing and speak at your normal announcement volume to confirm it works as expected.

- Locate the “DUCKING” button on the control panel.
- Press the button to enable the ducking feature.
- Connect a microphone to Channel 1 or Channel 2.

NOTE:
Ducking does not lower the volume of every channel; it specifically attenuates the AUX/Bluetooth audio on Channel 4.

- Connect a microphone to Channel 1 or Channel 2.
- Play music through Bluetooth or another connected audio source.
