DLTest is the factory test software for the Vi console surface, it is very useful for troubleshooting purposes.
If you are dealing with a Vi X00 or a Vi X000 desk, please disable EWF first.
*On Vi 1/2/4/6 desks this step can be skipped and you can get Windows Explorer showing up by typing “loadexplorer" on a keyboard which is connected to the desk. It is not ideal when the desk software is running in parallel with DLTest, but usually it is not causing any issues on Vi 1/2/4/6 desks.
Once the desk has restarted, press control + shift + esc to bring up task manager and create a new task to have Windows Explorer running:

You can find DLTest on every Vi desk on the following location:

Once the software is running, you can select one bay and check the faders of that bay:

You will be able to see the firmware versions of each Vistonics control boards. If needed, you can also delete and reload the firmwares of each selected bays:

Note that DLTest is also logging all events such as button presses and fader movements in its event log window. This function is quite useful when you are troubleshooting sticky buttons and misbehaving touchscreens.
You can also check the LEDs of the selected bay:

Once you are done, you will need to enable EWF again either manually from command line or by using the .bat files which are located in the Start menu as shortcuts or on the desktop of the console. The same rules apply to this part of the procedure like it would be done after the hard drive of the desk had been reimaged.
* On Vi 1/2/4/6 desks all you need to do is just to restart the console once you have closed the DLTest application to revert to normal operation.
