Flashing Ready LEDs on Magnum 1200/1800/2500Hz Smoke Machine

Rating

Question:

What do the flashing Ready LEDs on my Martin Magnum 1200/1800/2500Hz smoke machine mean?

Answer:

If the Ready LED on your Martin Magnum 1200/1800/2500Hz smoke machine is flashing (and you have no output or control) the flashing is indicating a fault state and depending on the frequency of the flash it can tell you what the error is.

Single Pulse = Calibration error - The machine will need calibration checking using a JEM Temperature Calibration box - also check that the calibration jumper is in the correct location (and not missing).

Double Pulse = Fluid-Out Error - Prime the machine or try running at a slightly higher output level, running a shorter OFF timer or a longer ON timer.

Triple Pulse = Overheat Error - The machine has temporarily overshot its calibration value - allow the machine to cool and the error should clear (or power cycle the machine). If persistant overheating occurs please check the calibration value as above and check the earthing contacts of the heater, pcb and chassis.
