Answer: 

The cable should be a type suitable for data transfer with two individually shielded twisted pairs, for example:

· Belden 'Datalene' series nr. 9729 2-pairs

· Belden 1902A or equivalent

· VDC Contractor RS422 2 pr (9729 equivalent)

· BICC Brand-Rex H9002 AWM 2493

NOTE:

Ethernet (Cat5/Cat5e/cat6) cable may work, but is NOT recommended for long term installation/use.
