IRX115S with firmware v5.05
There are three power states: OFF / ON / STANDBY
With speaker in ON mode: If there is no signal on input then the speaker will enter STANDBY mode after 1 hour. The speaker will revert to ON mode if signal is present on the input or if the Power button is pressed.
With speaker in STANDBY mode: If there is no signal on input then the speaker will enter OFF mode after 3 hours.
IRX115S with firmware v5.07
There are two power states: OFF / ON
Speaker will remain in ON mode indefinitely.
Firmware v5.07 was introduced on units manufactured from October 2022 onwards starting with serial numbers listed below for each model:
JBL-IRX115S-NA: T0040-JM014902
JBL-IRX115S-EK: T0041-JM012813
JBL-IRX115S-CN: T0043-JM011591
The date code is designated with the two letters after the hyphen. The first letter indicates the month and the second letter indicates the year. e.g. JM would be OCT 2022.
