Answer:

The AB4000 EW antenna booster amplifies the wireless microphone RF signal in long antenna cable runs.  One AB4000 EW can compensate for various cable lengths with a loss of up to 17.5 dB, while providing a flat response when using a RG58 cable.  Depending on how many active system components are used, up to two or three boosters can be used in series for extreme long cable lengths.
