Is there any advantage to powering the JBL EON One MK2 with AC instead of battery?

Answer:

Aside from not having the run time limitation of a battery,  the EON One MK2 has a higher maximum output when powered with AC.  The maximum sound pressure level (SPL) the EON One MK2 can produce on battery is about 119dB. It will produce 123dB when it's connected to AC.  Powering the unit from AC gives you more headroom to work with.
