Where can I find the amplifier Dante Firmware?
There are two Dante firmware file versions for the Crown DCiDA amplifiers. One for the DCi4x1250DA and DCi8x600DA, and the other for the DCi4x600DA, DCi4x300DA and DCI8x300DA. The only difference between these two files is the order of Primary and Secondary Dante ports.

Firmware updates are also distributed with Audio Architect. Dante firmware files have the extension DNT.
When to update Dante firmware
If you are configuring a new amplifier and receive the prompt to update its HiQnet firmware in Audio Architect, you will usually want to update the Dante firmware to match.

Note: If Dante Updater
matches your DCiDA amplifier to a "Harman International" Dante firmware,
DO NOT PROCEED WITH THE UPDATE.
When updating from factory installed v4.0.7.8 firmware to the later Crown Dante firmware, you must check the Allow override of device matching box in Dante updater. This is due to the changes in the User and Capability portion of the DNT files.
After updating, the Manufacturer will show as Crown and the incorrect match will no longer occur.

Versions of DCiDA Dante firmware
Warning: Attempting to downgrade a newer Dante Brooklyn II card to an older Dante Binary may render it inoperable due to hardware changes.
Via https://help.harmanpro.com/using-crown-amplifiers-in-dante-domain-manager Crown Dante v4.2.3.13 was released in February 2024 for all DCiDA models. It adds additional support for Dante Domain Manager, Dante Director, bug fixes and support for any new hardware changes.
Audio Architect v2.25.1 and v2.45.2 through v2.55.2 added the correct Crown Dante v4.0.7.8 files for all DCiDA models. Crown v4.0.7.8 added additional fixes: It corrected an issue with Dante hostnames and corrected an issue with Dante connectivity status in Audio Architect. Audio Architect v2.25.0 Crown Dante v4.0.7.8 firmware was initially released with Audio Architect v2.25.0 with the correct file for the DCi4x1250DA and DCi8x600DA only. Harman International v4.0.7.8 (from production only) added support for Dante Domain Manager for all DCiDA models. It also added support for the chips used in the newer Dante hardware builds.
Audio Architect v2.25.0, v2.20.0 and v2.15.2 included a CrownDante.dnt with the DCi4x1250DA and DCi8x600DA User and Capability files v1.0.3.1, with no Dante Binary. It can only be loaded with Dante Firmware Update Manager.
Audio Architect v2.15.0, v2.10.0 and v2.06.0 included a CrownDante.dnt with the DCi4x1250DA and DCi8x600DA User and Capability files v1.0.1.1, with Dante v3.10.1.2.
